A couple of years ago my neighbours were cleaning out a Grand Cherokee aquired from one of their friends. It wasn't particularly dirty, but they wore leather work gloves anyways.

After removing the child booster seats and a large bag of garbage, they dug up a big machete (18" including handle) from under one of the seats. This was, apparently, expected...

I was expecting needles, so I mostly used the shovel and a vacuum. A lot of kids stuff and a lot of mold. He barely used his bare hands, mostly to pick out semi-interesting things. Like a racket, frisbee, and iPod nano.
